About this job
We're looking for a junior or senior pursuing a Computer Science degree to join the cybersecurity awareness team at UTC's Corporate Headquarters. This team, part of the Digital Compliance group within Cybersecurity, is responsible for the awareness and education of UTC personnel through many different initiatives and channels. This intern role is part-time and based in Farmington, Connecticut.
Role
Under guidance and direction from the team lead:
Further develop and maintain the internal-facing cybersecurity awareness website
Research content and create security awareness infographics and banners
Use eLearning content authoring tools to create interactive awareness games for the website
Support the team on other projects and activities that may arise (e.g. data analytics and visualization, website content research, write short awareness articles and explainers, update process documentation, etc.)
Skills and experience
Understanding of HTML, CSS, JS and C# (or another object oriented language)
Understanding of model view controller frameworks (.Net a plus) and styling frameworks
SQL database experience
Graphic design experience
Desired software experience: Visual Studio, SQL Server, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop; MS Excel and PowerPoint
Task-oriented self-starter with excellent problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Qualifications
* Understanding of HTML, CSS, JS and C# (or another object oriented language)
* Understanding of model view controller frameworks (.Net a plus) and styling frameworks
* SQL database experience
* Graphic design experience
