Purpose and Scope: To drive the design and development of the Women Polo Factor Store (PFS) for all products categories.Key Responsbilities:Manage and Design development for all PFS catagoriesCollaborate with Merchant team and identify business needsCreate design boards with inspirational sketches, tears, and fabricPresent concepts and ideas to Vice PresidentSketch design details and pass-off/review with tech once styles are adoptedCreate and Manage Stats and Pagination Boards:Create each season with fabric info, illustrations, and sketchesWork with the Illustration team to add and make necessary updatesCreate Stat boards for Board Review- that have stat sheets, fabrics, and trimsShare drive Stats- are updated bi weekly with updated sketches, drops, and adds or as neededManage all trims, Logos, Prints, graphic and lab dip approvalsRecord comments into PLM and send out comments to factories or parties Follow up and track trims and Logos for approvalsDirect all fittingsAttend all fittings and give clear direction to tech teamReview all specs, construction, trim and logo placementsManage and Build tech packs Create board #'s with associate merchandiserCreate shells for new styles for each seasonInput all Trims and Logo info for BOMAdd all sketches, design details, and Logos into PLM systemSet-up and manage Proof meetings and make sure all info in the system is accurateReview all tech packs before we send out Stock ApprovalsTeam with PD and Fabric to ensure all product info is accurate in our system Team with Sourcing on pricing and allocationAttend all WIP meetings and come prepared with all necessary line sheet, stats, logo and trim that will need to be discussedManage Assistant Designer:Hold weekly meetings, provide deadlines on projectsTeach all processes and procedures with-in the company
Requirements:Proficient at sketching detailed garment flats in Adobe Illustrator and proficient at CAD to color illustrated designsProficient at Photoshop & ExcelStrong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detailProven verbal & communication skillsExperience using PLM system a plus4 year college degree in Fashion Design5+ years of experience with Women's wear design
