Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. At this time, our WEEKEND ON-CALL CAREGIVER will be paid a stipend for the weekend, and an hourly rate for services provided. The ON-CALL CAREGIVER must be able to service a client within an hour of the call. An every other weekend caregiver would also be acceptable. The ON-CALL hours are from Friday at 5:00 p.m. until Monday at 7:00 a.m. Candidates must be available to provide service during those times if called.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- At least 21 years of age
- Either a CNA or 2 years of previous experience as a caregiver
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Alzheimer’s Care
- Personal Care
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
- Ability to attend a 3 day Orientation and training (9:00a.m. to 4:00)
