POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Shift Leader partners with the Restaurant Leader to lead and operate the restaurant. This person ensures that every member is happy, feels empowered, and consistently prepares and serves our delicious food in line with our recipes, all while ensuring an excellent and fast guest experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Make and serve delicious, fresh food following Noon's guidelines and safety procedures

• Make all our guests feel welcomed, delighted, and like part of the Noon team

• Keep our restaurant clean, sanitized, organized, and well stocked

• Work as a team; support, train, and show appreciation for other family members

• Execute Noon's systems and processes to operate the restaurant successfully

• Coach, train, and lead crew members to excel in delivering noon's processes, and standards

• Lead shifts following Noon's procedures to deliver consistent results in the areas of sales, customer metrics, labor/food cost control

• Assist Restaurant Leader to staff, train, develop, and retain family members

• Leverage appropriate management tools and systems

• Other duties as outline in Noon's Training & Development Plan or as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:

Good verbal and written communication skills; bi-lingual in Spanish a plus

• Attention to detail in a fast paced environment

• Passionate about creating a fun, warm, inviting, contemporary culture that provides the ultimate experience for the guest and work experience for the employees

• Must have a positive attitude and ethics which support Noon's values and culture

• Available 30-40 hours per week; able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively. This includes weekends and closing shifts as dictated by the restaurant’s needs.

• Flexible, knowing that a start-up operation must undergo change as the market/guest dictates.

• Ability to work extended periods of time standing

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• 2-4 years in a Restaurant Hourly Management position in a QSR / Casual Dining environment

• Food handler (food manager license preferred)

• High school degree
