WHAT’S THE GIG?

As a Base Area Activities Guide, your role is to provide Epic guest service and make vacation dreams come true. You will help guests create unique memories on our Alpine Coaster and Flying Eagle Zip Ride.  You will help guests ride the surface lifts and help to create the best possible arrival experience for them all. Winter at Park City is full of energy with many other amazing employees, and you will have the opportunity to meet them all. Other departments will be stoked to see you coming when you show up to lend a hand with Lift Ops, Guest Services, Ticket Sales, and the Ski and Snowboard School.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Smile! We’re here to create experiences of a lifetime and have a blast doing it.
• Safety First: While operating our alpine coaster, zip line, and surface lifts.
• Serve Others: From running the surface lifts for beginners to answering questions and helping guests navigate the experiences the mountain has to offer. 
• Do Right: Receive guest feedback and special requests. Provide on-the-spot resolution and elevate guest experiences through the Epic Service Solutions program. 
• Drive Value: From Alpine Coaster and Eagle Zip Line guide, to helping guests on the Surface Lifts.
• Do Good: Help to keep the resort looking good and nature smiling as we begin our journey to zero.
• Stay Flexible: You’ll get to do a lot of different things around the mountain.

EXPECTATIONS

• Be prepared: To work outdoors in all weather conditions for long periods of time. 
• Be sturdy: Stand in one area for long periods of time.
• Be nimble: Repeated twisting, turning, pulling, pushing, bending, lifting (up to 50 ponds), squatting and shoveling are typically required on the daily basis.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Be social: You’ll need to converse clearly and comfortably with a variety of guests.
• Be local: Or at least fake it.  Guests will want to know what’s hot in Park City.
• Be reliable: If you’re able to work unsupervised or with a group and fulfill your work commitment, then we’re going to get along great. We also don’t mind throwing out a little over time during peak seasons if you like money.
