About this job
High-volume call center environment where individuals are responsible for selling private parties and corporate functions, coordinating the sales process including administrative tasks and working with the store Special Events staff to ensure the quality experience of every event booked under the direction of the Sales Center Manager.
Shifts vary. Must be open to working a variety of shifts including evenings and/or weekends.
Responsibilities
Takes incoming guest calls, sells event space/Food & Beverage/Power Cards, etc., and enters all of the appropriate information into the booking system.
Answers guest calls promptly and returns all messages within the business day.
Responsible for accurate and prompt distribution of event information to the appropriate store to ensure quality experience.
Maintains a positive attitude and makes excellent customer service a priority.
Works well with a team in a fast paced environment.
Consistently meets individual and team sales goals.
Handles any challenges promptly and to the guest's satisfaction. Refers to Manager, if necessary.
Follows all standard policies and procedures in handling bookings.
Collects all deposits and signed contracts on time and in accordance with company policies.
Performs all promotional plans as directed by Sales Center Manager.
Takes the initiative to develop and improve sales skills, through internal and external sources.
Assists in ensuring the maintenance of event archives and all critical information.
Miscellaneous and administrative duties as directed by Sales Center Manager.
Qualifications
High school diploma required
2 years college coursework preferred, full degree a plus
Sales experience a plus
Computer literate
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Hospitality experience preferred
Customer service skills
Bilingual, Spanish is a plus
Work Environment
Non-typical work environment. We have games in the lobby, a billiard table in the break room, shuffleboard up front and we get everyone together monthly for “Party on the Patio” where we relax and catch up over ice cold “refreshments”. We work hard, play hard and have FUN!
