A successful Business Operations Analyst will have the following:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from four-year College or technical school, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics, and 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to work as an individual contributor, as well as a member across a diverse group of teams
  • Have a great deal of initiative by being proactive and flexible through daily work and identifying creative solutions to produce results
  • Demonstrate the ability to think strategically by planning and anticipating future implications, thinking broadly, and understanding the long term impacts of decisions
  • Intermediate-level skill and experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Access, Word and Outlook

The Business Operations Analyst will be part of a team heavily involved in billing operations and process improvement initiatives. A successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, as well as the ability to manage multiple assignments. Work will be a variable combination of data analysis, account auditing, and process improvement initiatives.

 

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert by fully understanding the process and the impact to the customer and overall business
  • Audit, monitor and prevent account exceptions to ensure customer inquiries are fulfilled timely and accurately
  • Detect operational trends, determine root cause, and present findings and recommendations to a wide audience, including senior leadership
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to create efficiencies, improve the customer experience, and/or reduce costs
