This role is responsible for recruitment activities focusedon attracting and efficiently hiring qualified and competent staff in various health system areas. Includes active participation in the recruitment process: receiving, interviewing and engaging with candidates, selecting top candidates for presentation the hiring leader and stakeholder panels. Teams with workforce planning consultants, hiring leaders and human resources staff to develop successful working relationship to ensure effective recruiting based on staffing needs, position requirements and facility-specific practices. This role requires a high degree of self-motivation, integrity, tenacity and ability and desire to be a proud ambassador of talent acquisition.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required

Work Experience:

Two years of recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare

Proficient in applicant tracking systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required

Possess excellent communication skills

Position Duties (essential job functions)

* Maintains accurate and timely documentation of candidate progress in applicant tracking system.*

* Interacts with workforce planning consultants and hiring managers to evaluate and recommend applicants for employment and to fill vacant positions for assigned facilities.*

* Recruits top candidates for positions on a national basis, and ensures compliance with company policy and EEO and ADA guidelines; establishes and maintains effective business relationships with various recruitment sources, including executive search firms and placement agencies in order to generate and maintain a qualified, diverse applicant pool.*

* Manages recruiting process including understanding job requirements, leveraging a variety of sources to identify candidates, analyzing resumes, conducting interviews, collecting interview feedback, recommending qualified candidates, ensures proper references completed, credential verifications, and pre-employment tasks completed, and coordinating job offer negotiations.*

* Develops and maintains a database of high-level applicant contacts; determines appropriate advertisement vehicles, including newspapers, trade journals, websites, and social media; manages search campaigns to source qualified candidates from offline and online networks (e.g., researching target companies, leveraging personal executive relationships, and targeting searched on LinkedIn.)*

* Develops and maintains applicant files, appropriate records, and statistics.*

* Researches, recommends and implements effective recruiting techniques to ensure appropriate staff available when needs arise.*

* Regularly meets with workforce planning consultants identify recruitment needs and utilizes the

* information to come up with recruitment plans to meet their needs.*

* Attend appropriate job fairs to ensure organization has a presence and to recruit potential job candidates. Sells organization to potential future associates. Participates at various school functions aimed at developing interest in healthcare careers.*

* Networks with other Centura recruiters to facilitate economies of scale when recruiting.*

* Serves as liaison to job candidates to let them know their status and to ensure they continue to be engaged in the process. Contacts candidate by phone or in person to determine areas of interest and assess qualifications and job fit. Assures that applicants receive accurate information regarding job descriptions, benefits, and organization information upon request.*

* Effectively screens and refers qualified candidates to appropriate managers in an efficient and timely manner.*

* Checks HR file on all internal applicants and previous employees of Centura Health prior to submitting application to hiring manager. Checks for rehire status and communicates any documented performance issues.*

* Coordinates and schedules interviews with out-of-area candidates and makes all travel arrangements through the system designated travel agency. Assists new-hires with relocation activities.*

* Provides career counseling to internal personnel to inform them of alternative opportunities within Centura in order to increase available labor pool and enhance retention.*

* Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of employment laws, HR policies and systems principals in order to refer management personnel and employees to appropriate resources and coordinate recruitment activities.*

* Tracks relevant recruiting data as requested in order to establish metrics for measurement.*

* Attends continuing education sessions as needed/requested to ensure skills are current.*
