We have an immediate need for a HVAC Technician in Atlanta, GA.

As a HVAC Technician, you will be primarily responsible for the installation and repair of HVAC, Boiler, and environmental control systems. NORESCO/UTC affords you the opportunity to work directly for a leading energy management company giving you access to technical support, training on newest technology and comprehensive career paths with opportunity for growth. In this position you will establish & maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills via phone, computer, and face to face. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests including repairs, replacement, and modifications of equipment or systems as needed or requested by customers. Communicating with customers and/or Project Managers regarding inspection/service findings is required

Here's a look at the responsibilities for this position:

* Coordinate with supervising Field Technician, Project Managers and customers to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by extensively examining building layouts, forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work

* Plan, coordinate and execute preventative maintenance and inspection activities on the project site, as well as schedule and manage maintenance and repair activities by subcontractors at assigned sites

* Provide troubleshooting and repair services on all assigned equipment

* Provide training and mentoring for junior service technicians and apprentices

* Interface with customers and subcontractors as assigned and prepare reports that are well written and accurate

* Work with CMMS software to update and track maintenance and repair activities

* Maintain proper professional customer relations

* Work after hours on call duty

* Have working knowledge of boilers, screw chillers, gas-paks, heat pumps, air handlers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, fan-coil units, window units, roof top package units and other miscellaneous HVAC equipment

* Perform any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

* At least 5 years of verifiable experience in the HVAC service and repair industry (commercial and light industrial) as a service technician.

* Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills related to HVAC, Boiler, and DDC systems. (ALC experience preferred).

* Must be familiar with MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.

* Reliable form of personal transportation.

* Ability to obtain Federal security clearances (to include top secret) for assigned projects.

* Extensive travel throughout the Southeast required.

* Mental alertness and ability to concentrate with distractions nearby.

* Ability to stand, stoop, reach, bend, climb and crawl.

* This position requires working in diverse locations and conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms where there can be potential exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and proximity to electricity including high voltage. Detailed safety review must be completed and reviewed prior to any work. Adherence to all Safety Procedures will be required.

* This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, standing, stooping, reaching, kneeling bending climbing and crawling.

* Potential exists for requirement of employee to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs.

Education EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma and completion of HVAC Technical School

* EPA Universal refrigerant certification
