Cleveland Clinic's Department of Community Internal Medicine is currently seeking an experienced Internal Medicine trained physician for a primary care position at the Lakewood Family Health Center. This position requires primary care experience, as well as experience in HIV care and/or transgender care. The successful applicant will have special interest caring for patients within the LGBT community. Cleveland Clinic's Center for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Care offers healthcare services at the Lakewood Family Health Center. Embedded in a primary care practice, the center provides care for all patients in a safe and welcoming environment. It includes providers who understand the health needs of LGBT patients, and access to specialists with expertise in LGBT care.

The department provides outstanding preventative, acute and chronic disease care for adults in a patient-focused setting. Our practices are recognized as Patient Centered Medical Homes, and feature a team-based approach to optimize patient care and satisfaction. In keeping with Cleveland Clinic's values, focus is also placed on our educational mission. Our staff physicians are extremely active in teaching both residents and medical students.
