We are currently seeking to fill a “Construction Laborer" position. Desirable candidates are able to work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision at times, and are highly organized and hard working. This role works internally with other staff and management to complete production goals on a daily and weekly basis. Must be able to support several projects and tasks at once.
Basic Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with co-workers
- Assists in the construction, maintenance, testing and/or repair
- Performs heavy manual labor including but not limited to digging, lifting, climbing and installing varying weight objects.
- Working in and exposed to varying weather conditions.
- Operates various general labor tools and various hand tools (jackhammer, saws, paint brushes).
- Neat and timely work
- Must be able to work a variety of positions throughout the day including standing, sitting, stooping, bending at the waist, lifting above the head.
- Other projects and task as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior technical experience, construction or carpentry
- Able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment.
- Ability work well and communicate with others
- Ability to work in a varying temperature environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Valid Drivers License
