About this job
We are seeking kitchen staff with previous experience as a chef de partie or line cook in a fine dining setting. Knife and sauté skills are a must.
Hiring:
Chef de Partie
Skills:
- Experience on a hot or cold kitchen line, preferably 2 or more years.
-Knife skills
- Knowledge of a wide variety of cooking techniques such as braising, roasting, sous vide, frying, poaching, steaming, pickling
- A deep passion for great food and executing techniques with perfection
- Evening/Weekend/Holiday Availability
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, structured kitchen environment preferred
Reliability:
- Reliable transportation to work
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to show up on-time and at 100% for all scheduled shifts
- We prefer candidates living close to the restaurant
Teamwork:
- Candidates must function well with others and keep a can-do attitude
- Ability to work constructively as a member of the Team and take directions and critique with poise.
Speed and Work Ethic:
- Speed is a MUST. The restaurant is busy.
- Strong and proactive work ethic. Our candidate will always be looking for something to do while on the job.
