This person is experienced in accounting functions including AP, AR, PR, GL, JE s, financial statements, bank reconciliations and month-end closing. This person must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.The right person for this role is methodical, predictable, patient and accommodating, and demonstrates calmness under pressure. This talented candidate is comfortable interacting with others in a team environment and possesses strong supervisory skills. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, self-motivated team player with effective communication skills and an extraordinary ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.This position upon adequate growth becomes the Chief Financial Officer, and will be responsible for keeping reporting staff on track and productive. This person maintains personal working relationships with outside accounting firm(s) and legal counsel, interacting with them on a regular basis. This individual assists with miscellaneous projects and brainstorms ways to help improve the office both operationally and financially.Duties of this position include:Full charge accounting utilizing online computerized bookkeeping (Sage), including monthly reporting to internal office(s) of all production accounting figures for the month.Managing staff payroll, and supervision of vacation and phone coverage.Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports to assist the executive team in increasing sales and productivity.Leading associates in utilization of tools and initiatives to build successful businesses and in turn ensure office profitability.Working as office liaison with vendors and other service providers.Review costs for optimal budget planning.Ability to work under pressure.Requirement:2-5 years experience in accounting, including knowledge of financial reports, AP, AR, GL, and journal entries. Must have 3-5 years office management and staff supervisory experience.
