Administrative Assistant

AtWork Personnel is now hiring for Shipping Coordinator/Administrative Assistant for their client in Dayton, NJ!  We are looking for candidates that are self-motivated, energetic, and ready to be a part of a growing office team.  This is an excellent opportunity to stretch your administrative skills with a great company!

As a Shipping Coordinator , you will be responsible for many office duties.  Position works closely with outside freight carriers to schedule inbound domestic or foreign shipments. Candidate will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other departments on a regular basis to meet departmental objectives. Also must be able to troubleshoot and multi task as needed and communicate problems to department manager. Candidate must be computer literate with excellent data entry skills, the ability to follow procedures and good excel knowledge. - must be able to manage spreadsheets, graphs, yearly numbers etc. . Individuals should also have good communication skills, be detail-oriented and well-organized.

Hours : 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

JOB REQUIREMENTS

In the Administrative Assistant role, you must be a positive, customer-service-oriented team player who is also able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  You must present a professional image and great communication skills, both written and verbal. 

Other Requirements of the Administrative Assistant role:

  • Must have at least 2 years of recent Administrative/Clerical experience
  • Must have GOOD knowledge of  Excel
  • Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision
  • Knowledge of general clerical procedures and protocol
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and/or background check
  • Must be able to provide 3 positive work references
