Inventory Control Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

At Work personnel is seeking a Sr. Inventory Control Specialist to monitor procedures to ensure inventory levels are accurate and properly recorded in the ERP system. As the specialist you will lead the cycle count process and recommend process improvement where needed.

Job duties:

• Review, analyze, and submit for approval daily and weekly inventory adjustments and changes
• Analyze and report on metrics and recommend ways to improve the inventory control function
• Research on-hand variances and contribute to improving inventory accuracy
• Assist in creating and maintaining inventory process documentation and reports
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring all key functions and controls related to inventory transactions to ensure that they are accurate and timely
• Coordinate the cycle count process and results, identify necessary recounts and processes to be monitored, correct discrepancies, and provide regular reports on the results
• Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and provide possible solutions
• Work with key personnel to implement process improvements to operational procedures in an effort to optimize overall inventory accuracy

Bachelors degree in business or supply chain

4-6 years with in distribution

Microsoft Office products

Ability to work 40+ hours and be flexible for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
