Westside Cleveland Manufacturing Company is currently seeking a tool maker.
1st shift position, 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday, occasional OT
$11.13-$11.47/hr and up, based on experience
Duties Include:
Sharpening tools
Repairing tools
Building fixtures
Designing tooling
Analyzes variety of specifications, lays out metal stock, sets up and operates machine tools, and fits and assembles parts to fabricate or repair cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, or machinists' hand tools, applying knowledge of tool design, shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout, machining, and assembly procedures: Studies specifications, such as blueprints, sketches, or tool description, and plans sequence of operations
Measures, marks, and scribes metal stock to lay out workpieces for machining.
Requirements Include:
Minimum 5 years experience as a tool maker
Ability to meet hiring requirements
Reliable transportation and attendance
Attention to detail
Organized
