Job Summary
We have openings for our 2018 Summer Internship Program in Corporate Strategy and Business Development, located in Monroe, LA. The primary responsibilities will include providing analytical and business case studies for Corporate Strategy and Business Development initiatives.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing and tracking analytics and business cases for small business development opportunities
* Work with team to build dashboard analytics and online reporting
* Analyze information and formulate an opinion and recommendation
* Present recommendations to managers and directors
* Research technological, market and competitive developments within CenturyLink targeted product categories
* Apply innovation, ideation principles and tools to create ideas for new products
* Support the Product Development Manager in the development of business case/financial analysis and ownership of assumptions critical for success
Qualifications
* In pursuit of Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing or MBA.
* Mobile development skills
* Web development experience
* Graphic design experience
* Ability to document details in a process
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Outlook experience
* Ability to work autonomously and in small team environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Highly motivated, organized, reliable, and detailed oriented
* Quick learner and capable of multitasking and asking questions
Professional appearance and attitude
Requirements:
* Must submit a resume, transcript, and a letter of recommendation (at time of interview)
* Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher (Preferred GPA 3.2)
* Must be currently enrolled at a 4-year accredited College or University
* Must be a rising junior, senior or graduate student
* Must work 15-20 hours per week during the 10 week session
* Must have reliable transportation to and from work daily for the duration of the internship
