Food Production Specialist - Batchmaker

Interested in working with unique products with the opportunity to do something different everyday? Sammark Holdings is looking for a Food Production Specialist to work on multiple product lines from cookies to caramels.

The Food Production Specialist is responsible for the preparation and production of batches of various food products. The position is also responsible for packaging, order fulfillment, and sanitation of food production areas.

• Read and follow batch cardswith specific preparation and ingredient requirements in addition to other technical information for consistency and adherence to food safety regulations
• Measure, combine and distribute ingredients according to patented formula for consistency in taste, safety and branding
• Inspect food batch production for quality and identify any errors or problems on line, reporting directly to supervisory staff immediately
• Operate and monitor equipment used in food preparation for proper function as well as record and report any malfunctions or other complications
• Select and test in-production samples and provide relevant information to quality assurance department for further testing
• Package food product into various bags, boxes, and other items for sale
• Read customer orders and prepare products for order fulfillment
• Clean and sanitize station daily at start and end of shift and assist team in maintaining exemplary cleanliness and safety practices.

The employee will work in a production environment. Exposure to loud noise and warm temperatures is likely.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED
• Able to train on-the-job in every stage of production
