Our Client designs and manufactures inline and rotary machines for denesting, filling, sealing and capping of pre-formed plastic and paper cups and containers.

JOB SUMMARY:

The FSPM tracks and coordinates the closure of open items from field service work. This includes identifying and tracking open items from field service technicians, engineering work, part manufacturing and third party suppliers. This role is a key interface between field service technicians, service management, engineering and manufacturing to ensure customer job transparency, allow priority setting and closure of open customer items. This position also prepares FATs, handles complaints, issues and/or improvement suggestions from customers, field service personnel and the aftermarket team providing assistance by interfacing with appropriate department(s) regarding the issue and follows up on each individual project/case ensuring the fluidity of the processes and following each issue to a successful conclusion.  Also monitors lead times and properly communicates with all parties involved, including customers.    

  • Track open items from field service jobs including installations, upgrades and modifications, consolidate into overall view to allow prioritization by service management, coordinate closure of open items esp. when engineering and manufacturing or third party suppliers are involved.
    • Monitor Customer reports and Field Service activities through daily reports and actively communicating with Field Service Technicians and to properly inform Quality and Engineering about problems related to machine issues, performance, design and safety.
    • Interface with Engineering to bring each case involving engineering interventions in the field to a resolution.
    • Interface and triangulate between all departments and customers, as necessary, to expedite the customer related solutions for issues.
  • Work with Project Management, Assembly and Customers to prepare FAT for each machine and generating FAT reports, documenting the exceptions and preparing the final FAT report. Prepare and schedule installations at customer site.
  • Create and maintain the “Closeout Task List” per customer/project until all items are cleared and customer provides final acknowledgment.
  • Maintain and follow up on outstanding issues in the Customer Complaint Registration Log for QMM.
  • Possibility of travel will be necessary to properly document and meet with the customer and/or field service technicians to address issues.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Strong communication skills, written and spoken
  • Experience identifying machine parts and assemblies and/or proven record of successful troubleshooting.
  • Being able to efficiently use MS Project and MS Excel.
  • 5+ Years of Relevant Experience
