JOB SCOPE:
Oversees the portfolio of projects for ServiceLive and manages a team of Project Managers.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Trailblazer role is responsible for creating the detailed map to get us from ServiceLive today to our vision. There will be many components, from legal, employee law, technology, member experience, marketing, Sears Holdings Corporation integration and more. This individual will create the detailed master project plan and help the team traverse the trail, finding ways around pitfalls and obstacles. The individual in this role will set the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific components within the master project plan.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Monitors project budgets, communicates issues to department management in a timely manner, monitors the quality specification within projects/departments, and liaises with client on project related matters
* Partners with stakeholders to drive program strategy
* Monitors team members, activities, milestones, roadmaps and funding
* Tracks and monitors projects, activities, milestones, timelines and deliverables of staff members, to ensure that all project-related tasks are performed
* Assists individual project managers in creating detailed project work plans and assign tasks to team members
* Helps to mentor junior project managers
* Works closely with practice leads and/or managers to ensure a high level of quality
* Keeps senior management informed of project status in relation to both quality and timeliness and liaises with other managers/directors to improve the effectiveness of the organization
* Ensures project documents are complete, current, and archived appropriately
* Participates in high-level project planning and roadmap sessions
* Forecasts upcoming project work by resources and hours
* Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates
