JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
* Engage as a member of the Targeted Interactions (TI) team to create a scalable, automated, and analytically driven engine to leverage digital marketing assets (mobile, social, email, direct mail, web, etc.) to deliver the right message/offer to the right person in the right channel at the right time.
* Build and enhance Inbound marketing models using linear regression and logistic regression with various advanced techniques, such as correction for sample selection bias, and correction for endogeneity.
* Build marketing models for Inbound (e.g. POS) and Outbound channels (e.g. direct mail, email) using advanced modeling techniques, such as BG/NBD probability Model for non-contractual retail setting.
* Lead meetings to design modeling strategy and segmentation used for offer targeting to improve incremental and topline attributes.
* Manage the corresponding modeling strategy and recommendations for critical business initiatives, such as Kmart Wholehouse Continuity program, Sears Softlines continuity program, SHC Attrition population.
* Analyze Models (coefficients, variables, actual performance, etc.) to drive business strategy.
* Determine and acquire the appropriate data through SQL data querying of Teradata tables to answer business questions.
* Guide analysts to build models and conduct analysis using analytics tools, such as SAS, R and SQL.
* Set up randomized A/B test populations to execute experimental designs and measure incremental impact of different treatments using SQL and SAS (SAS Macro).
* Design A/B test strategy to improve personalized offer optimization.
* Identify opportunities for offer/targeting improvements across business units.
* Work on ad hoc requests and projects for senior management.
* Document analysis methods and findings.
* Present to senior management (DVPs, Sr. Directors) and collaborate with managers from other departments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related quantitative field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus one (1) year of experience analyzing customer data in a Big Data (large volume with many attributes) environment in the customer-facing retail or financial services industry or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related quantitative field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as noted above.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Candidate must also possess:
* Demonstrated Expertise (DE) cleaning raw data using SAS Macro and advanced SQL, and performing coding analysis and statistical analysis to glean business insights and present results to senior management.
* DE performing test design, incremental performance reporting, and statistical significance testing using statistical data mining packages (SAS, Enterprise Minor, R and Python) to assess the performance of various targeting methods and offer design.
* DE performing large scale optimization using advanced Modeling techniques including, Logistic regression model, Linear regression, Probability model, and Naive Bayes model to drive targeting strategy changes.
