About this job
Established manufacturer located near Lake Success, NY is in immediate need of an experienced Human Resources Manager.
Main functions include but not limited to:
- Identify and communicate the human capital needs of the business, and partner to build a strong talent pipeline
- Drive manager competency in the interview and selection process so that top talent is recognized and selected
- Develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of employee relations, organization development, and performance management initiatives
- Partner with leaders in implementing ideas and solutions that will drive employee engagement levels
- Ensure performance and rewards programs including the annual performance management process and variable pay programs are effectively executed
- Work closely with leaders to understand individuals/teams, develop succession plans and growth strategies for employees, and ultimately drive focus and accountability for building a high-performing organization
- Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership teams providing decision support on the human capital dimension of the business
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive and comprehensive HR Generalist and/or Management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field is required
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP and/or SHRM-SCP preferred
- Strong interpersonal and written communications, follow-up, problem-solving and creative and intuitive thinking traits and skills are necessary
Salary commensurate with experience + comprehensive benefits package
