Emporium Pies is on the lookout for some upbeat bakers with a love for pie! Knowledge of pie doughs and crusts is helpful but not mandatory. We will train the right person regardless of background if you're motivated to learn and excel.Work ethic, consistency, and personality go a long way in our fun, yet very hard-working kitchen. There are opportunities to learn everything from pie dough production and rolling crusts to making all of our pie fillings from scratch (custards, caramelsauces, french silk fillings, fruit pie filling, etc) and assembling them. We almost only promote from within and as a small growing business there are often ways to move up into training and managing positions. In addition to all of that, you get an inside look at a small but growing business. And of course, we love making good pies but we also love having fun while we make good pies!Part time (15-30 hrs/wk) positions start at $9.00/hr (varies based on level of experience) Opportunity to rise to supervisory positions exist for the right baking rock star.Days vary based on availability. People with weekend availability are currently priority.Hours run generally from 6am - 2pm, but vary by day and amount of pies to be made.
