Position Summary: This position will provide individual and group therapy services as well as Fountain Center's chemical use assessments and Rule 25 chemical use assessments. Family education and group work, case management, crisis management, as well as a variety of other tasks as they arise.

Responsibilities: Provides professional counseling services to assigned patients and family members.

Qualifications: Bachelor degree in alcohol and drug studies related field. Counselors providing adolescent services and family counselors must meet training, experience, and continuing education requirements necessary for the patient population for which services are provided. Must document two years of freedom from chemical abuse problems. Must be at least 21 years old.

Additional Qualifications: Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledgeable of addiction, chemical dependency and the recovery process.

License or Certification: Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with current licensure with Minnesota Board of Social Work, or exempt status in accordance with Minnesota

Current CPR for Family and Friends Course or equivalent. First aid training.

Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $19.22 per hour.

Schedule Details: Day and evening hours in the Mankato office providing evening group therapy.
