About this job
The Production/Digital Artist ensures portraits are production and customer ready by retouching and enhancing images.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Performs digital image retouching by following a prescribed methodology, using layers, masking, stamps (e.g., clone), brushes (e.g., healing), etc. in Adobe Photoshop.
- Enhances images by using various techniques in Adobe Photoshop to correct color balance and image exposure.
- Safe-guards all customer, employee and company proprietary and personal information ensuring customer and employee data is kept confidential at all times.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High school diploma. Post-Secondary education graphic design/graphic arts, preferred.
Experience:
- 1 - 2 years in graphic design or pre-production work.
Other (knowledge, skills, and abilities):
- Proficient in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator), intermediate level.
- Working and demonstrated knowledge of photography and lighting, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) and presentation.
- Detail oriented in the execution and follow-up of work.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to balance and execute against multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
- Takes initiatives.
