About this job

Projects include the expansion into new technologies, new facilities and the implementation and upgrade of enterprise-wide software solutions. Project teams may have more than 30 members with representatives from multiple corporate functions and 3rd parties. This position is expected to facilitate planning meetings, communicate project status as well as escalate any issues to executives and senior management.


• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience managing IT projects preferred; PMP certification preferred.
• Must have a technical acumen including a strong understanding of IT hardware, software, networking, ERP solutions and how they are utilized across an organization.
• Proven ability to lead remote geographically dispersed teams.
• Assign and track resources, manage project scope/time table, and budget.
• Proactive: Seeks out information, answers, etc. without needing to be pushed to do so. Ability to quickly process information and distill into decisions, issues, items requiring action. Can connect the dots and question project teams if information not sounding consistent/congruent - need to be value add, not just administrative.
• Strong facilitation and documentation skills.
• Willing to do any task on a project to make it successful - from senior level discussions to meeting minutes/scheduling.
• Able to effectively communicate/drive decisions with C-level stakeholders.
• Team player, but holds individuals accountable.
• Knowledge of various project management methods (e.g., SCRUM, AGILE, Waterfall, PMBOC, RAD) and their appropriate application.
• Microsoft Office Suite: including Word, Excel, Project & PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Significant attention to detail.
• Provide leadership and direction throughout the project life cycle to ensure on time and on scope delivery.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both in speech and writing to provide needed support.
