WELDING EQUIPMENT REPAIR TECHNICIAN
We are in search of qualified candidates to fill this full time position for a well-established company in Oakmont. Certification in Miller and/or Lincoln would be a PLUS. The selected candidate will be qualified to rebuild/repair parts such as motor drive controls, motors, belts, transformers, bushings, bearings, gears; maintain welding equipment; solder connections; rewire electrical circuits; inspect machines/observe machine operations; disassemble/reassemble/refurbish machines; select replacement parts lists/catalogs; and, perform documented Quality Review Process.
Must possess 1 – 2 years related experience/training; Associates Degree in Electronics; 2 or more years electrical testing experience; experience operating welding /brazing equipment / field service is a PLUS; proficiency operating hand tools, measuring instruments; working knowledge of mechanics; excellent communication, teamwork, client service; ability to perform very heavy work safely coupled with the ability to operate a forklift; be a back-up on the team as needed; assist with inventory, perform general housekeeping; and customer interaction; pass a background investigation and drug screen.
