Assembly Supervisor

LOCATION: N Portland

SALARY: $16.50/hour

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are currently seeking a qualified Assembly Supervisor to join a growing company in N Portland. The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for leading, developing and engaging warehouse employees to accomplish warehouse objectives. The Assembly Supervisor is also responsible for results for all aspects of the warehouse operations including, but not limited to efficiency, timeliness, safety, process improvement, and quality. We’re looking for someone who has experience in a supervision role and is able to hit the ground running and lead.

$16.50 per hour

Job Duties
· Organize multiple projects at a time and utilize assembly leads and general workers to accomplish goals and meet challenging timelines
· See projects through start to finish and maintain efficiency and accuracy
· Email communication to provide status updates as well as obtain needed information
· Must be able to provide detailed briefs to team (written and verbal)
· Delegate duties and follow up to confirm quality and completion
· Prototype packaging
· Plan several steps ahead of the crew

QUALIFICATIONS:
· At least 3 yrs. in a supervision role
· Computer knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· “Can-Do” Attitude, Positive Attitude
· Ability to handle high pressure situations
· Ability to Work Overtime (average 40-hour work week + overtime)
· Multi task in a fast-paced environment
· Detail oriented with effective communications skills, both written and verbal, simple math
· Experience working/supervising in a warehouse environment
· Experience coordinating and supervising pack-out
· Able to calculate packaging DIMs
· Experience managing warehouse schedule and able to advise on labor needs
· Able to lift and move heavy objects
· Experience working with wood, metal and/or plastic
· Building/Assembling experience (personal or professional) experience is preferred
· Comfortable using hand and power tools
