Flooring Installer - Full-time / Part-time

Our client has an immediate need for a entry-level flooring installer to install epoxy-based flooring types. This is a full-time evaluation hire with long-term employment possibility with the client company.

Responsibilities include:

• Build flooring kits when directed;
• Read and understand job instructions, basic sketches, and materials requirements;
• Load and unload trucks;
• Learn various applications required to install troweled and broadcast flooring applications;
• Assist in cleaning and preparing job sites to receive Feature Flooring applications;
• Mix epoxies on the job site as needed and provide assistance to senior installers;
• Clean up all materials, trash and debris from job site;

• Light warehouse duties include stocking inventory, loading/unloading trucks and basic cleanup.

Requirements:

• HS grad or GED;
• Possession of a valid MD driver’s license;
• Minimum lifting capacity of 70 lbs. and physical ability to bend and kneel for long periods of time;
• Mechanical aptitude;
• Oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to pass DOT medical exam, criminal background check, and drug test;
• Available for evening hours, overnight and weekend installations.
