The primary responsibilities of the Parking Supervisor are to hire a service-oriented team, maintain auditing procedures for booth revenue, and conduct lot counting. The Supervisor will also lead employee trainings, manage Lot and Booth Attendant schedules, and organize parking lots and signage for daily operations.

 

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and counseling staff, as well as evaluating employee performance.
  • Maintain accounting/auditing procedures for booth revenue.
  • Assist guests in parking their cars, and maintain lots and signage.
  • Organize parking pass and parking sales procedures.
  • Communicate productively with resort, county, and community personnel.
  • Monitor department budget.
  • Maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
  • Monitor equipment, supplies, and parts inventories needed to support field activity; identify problems and recommend corrective action and changes as needed.
  • Conduct daily organizational meetings to discuss issues, event requests, special group requests, and other topics as necessary.
  • Lead weekly safety meetings and perform monthly facility inspections.
  • Demonstrate extraordinary guest service skills and motivate staff to deliver the same during every guest interaction.
  • Maintain the base area through hand shoveling, ice chipping, light maintenance, etc.
  • Process payroll and exceptions.
  • Address guest complaints and issues.

 

 Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent - required.
  • At least 2 years of parking/traffic management experience - strongly preferred.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience - required.
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record - required.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency - required.
  • Mechanical skills and the ability to use hand tools - strongly preferred.
