Manufacturing Specialist

A small local manufacturing company in La Crosse is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist. This is a full time, permanent career opportunity with a local manufacturing company that is growing.  The Manufacturing Specialist will work closely with the Product Development Team to develop technical improvements and new products.

We are looking for qualified individuals who will enjoy a diversified position. Starting out (for approximately the first year) the position will be 70% of the time on the production floor so the Manufacturing Specialist can get to know the business, and 30% of the time CAD programming and in the office. The programming and office time with grow into a larger portion of the job as the new hire gets to know the business and the positon.

Responsibilities for this position would include

• Working on the production floor 70% of the time to get to know the business
• CAD Programming would be 30% at the onset (grows into a bigger portion as the new hire gets to know and understand the business)
• Working with the Product Development Team to initiate technical improvements and new products
• Working on where files are stored and how they are stored into the computer re: SOPs
• Working on the floor on the routing machine (CNC machine)

Desired Attributes

• CAM experience required
• CAD experience required(Bobcad is what is currently used)
• Software experience
• Attention to detail
• Diversified position – looking for someone who likes diversification
• Associates degree or Tech school certifications preferred
• Individuals without relevant CAD, CAM, programming, and design experience will not be considered for this position

Monday-Friday – 8:00-4:30 PM

Wages - $15.00-$20.00 per hour based on skill set and experience. Full benefits package offered.
