The Guest Service Attendant is responsible for exceeding guests expectations and ensuring a world class ski resort experience while providing top notch guest service. First in the morning, the position requires you to greet each guest, scan each ticket or pass, and verify that each guest has a valid product to access the mountain.  Providing an outgoing welcome and assistance to all of our guests at the bus drop off areas and other areas in the village and on the mountain is of the utmost importance. Then in the afternoon, the Guest Services Attendant will put their skis or board on and monitor/patrol mountain ski runs while providing safety guidance, information and helping to enforce "Your Responsibility Code" and other mountain rules/protocols as directed. This individual will be asked to give information to guests and assist in cocoa and cookie distribution. This is a 100% outdoor position. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be at least an intermediate skier and/or snowboarder, may be subject to ski/snowboard test
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all mountain winter weather conditions
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift without sitting
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required
  • Must be able to visually inspect lift passes or tickets and read the scan gun

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced-Intermediate Skiing/Snowboarding skills - with the confidence to assist guests on groomed black terrain. 
  • Previous experience working a front line or guest facing position - highly preferred

Schedule: 4-5 days/week, 8 hours/day. Approximately 7:30am - 4:00pm. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required
