The role will work as a Real Estate Accounting Analyst and is responsible for processing receivables for income producing properties and serve as the subject matter expert on Trust Accounting and Client Services functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with third party Property Management companies to produce Electronic Transaction Ledgers for import
• Interact with U.S. Trust front office and technology to coordinate issue resolution
• Connect with Line of Business regularly to ensure the right level of assistance is received and remove roadblocks
• Evaluate opportunity for process improvement
• Exercise sound judgment and experience to make timely and effective decisions
• Identify and resolve complex discrepancies
• Skillfully manages conflict and reach solutions to benefit the organization
• Support reconciling several deposit and operating accounts
• Execute project plans and ad hoc reporting within time constraints

Skills:

• Accounting/Finance degree or 5 years real estate accounting experience
• Experience in property management industry with emphasis in accounting
• Proficient in Excel in using macros, complex formulas, pivot tables and V Lookup
• Strong planning and execution skills, including rigorous follow up
• Skillfully influences peers, is comfortable working with management and business partners.
