Automation Personnel Services, Inc, is looking for a Maintenance Technician for Hartselle, AL
Essential functions:
Routinely read and follow specifications, diagrams, manuals, blueprints, and sketches.
Frequently use rulers, calipers, micrometers and other measuring equipment.
Routinely lubricate machinery, clean parts and other equipment.
Periodically use flame cutting or gas welding equipment.
Frequently repair electrical equipment.
Responsible for trouble shooting equipment, making modifications to current programs
Assisting with the design and installation of new equipment work with engineering
Will be required to work with Engineering and Production Personnel to determine equipment issues, trouble shoot mechanical and electrical systems, make recommendations of process and equipment improvements and provide emergency service to the facility.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must periodically perform similar job-related duties as assigned.
Must maintain a clean work area.
Education experience and skills required:
Prefer two years experience performing a variety of maintenance related activities.
Training under a Maintenance 1st Class for a period of one year is required.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
Have the ability to add, multiply, subtract and divide accurately
Position will train on 1st and work 2nd shift and overtime when needed.
Drug screen is required
Pay rate starts $17.05 and more Depending on Experience
Minimum physical requirements:
Must live 40lbs
Climb ladders
Use hand tools
Stand and walk for long periods of time.
