Now Hiring Hospital Staff: Cooks, Food Service, Utility, and EVS

LGC is looking to fully staff a local hospital. We are looking for experienced and professional cooks, food service, utility, and environmental service workers to start immediately and join our team! You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in various Hospitals.

Responsibilities:

·   Prepare all served food

·   Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours

·   Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions

·   Follow standard recipes and special diet orders 

·   Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

·   Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

·   Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances

Qualifications:

·   Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields

·   Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques

·   Strong attention to detail

·   Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

·   Ability to work well in teams

Ideal Candidates must posses the following background clearances prior to being interviewed. If candidate is missing a clearance requirement they must be willing and able to pay for the required clearance immediately after being hired.

Background clearance requirements:

·    TB test

·   Child abuse clearance

·   Pa Patch

·   Finger print

·   Must be willing to take drug test
