Smoothie King is the nation's oldest retailer of nutritional smoothies, vitamins, and nutritional supplements. Currently, Smoothie King is seeking Shift Leaders.  

Shift Leaders are comfortable taking responsibility as well as delegating it; they thrive on challenge and continually look for opportunities to learn. They are responsible for ensuring Guest satisfaction while maintaining efficient store operations. Along with the Manager, they provide guidance to Team Members during assigned shift.

Qualifications:

• Six or more months of restaurant or retail experience as an hourly employee preferred.
• Must be capable of supervising specific areas of the business in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to lead, both by example and direction.
• Interact with the public and co-workers constantly and positively during shifts.
• Operates a blender and POS cashier system.

Responsibilities:

• Able to concisely communicate details about Smoothie King Products and information to all Guests.
• Foster an environment of team work.
• Able to follow procedures and willingness to comply with dress code requirements.
• Able to keep the store clean and ability to follow food safety regulations.
• Assist in the team management of restaurant during scheduled shifts.
• Assist Team Members at the point of sale (POS) in the execution of product and promotions.
• Ensures Guest service in all areas and meets applicable standards for quality and cleanliness.
• Informs Manager of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Support and adhere to company standards for operations, marketing/communications and brand identity.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Manager.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to constantly operate a blender and POS cashier system.
• Must be able to regularly move boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs., throughout the store.
• Must be able to constantly position self to bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shifts. 
• Must be able to tolerate exposure to food allergens.
• Must be able to work various shifts per week, including nights and weekends. Our hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must agree to a criminal background check. Those with felony convictions will not be considered due to the nature of this position.
