The Bell Team Lead at The Grand Summit is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Bell/Valet team. 

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensure the bell/valet team provides a consistently high level of service and instills a can-do attitude in team members
  • Communicate pertinent information about events and groups to the bell/valet team
  • Schedule supervisor coverage during peak business days and for extraordinary tasks
  • Respond to inquiries with accurate information regarding hours of outlet operation, directions to local attractions and restaurants, meeting rooms, etc. according to individual needs
  • Timely delivery and retrieval of luggage, amenities, and various items to the guest rooms
  • Perform the daily tasks according to the company brand standards and those set forth by the Management team
  • Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor and ethics in dealing both with guests, co-workers, and subordinates
  • Handle confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
  • Ensure that good safety practices of guests throughout the hotel, and proper emergency and safety procedures are followed
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards of operation
  • Ensure the bell desk and adjacent public areas are kept in pristine condition
  • Work in conjunction with the Front Office Manager and Assistants in developing the scheduling and all training
  • Will oversee valet, ski valet, shuttle operations, and all luggage storage and organization.
  • Complete office work as assigned, and attend meetings related to the Front Office and Bell/Valet

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2 years previous bell/valet supervisor experience required
  • UT Driver’s License preferred, satisfactory driving record required
  • At least 21 years old
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Hotel System preferred
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Must be willing to work overnight shifts, holidays, and weekends
  • Must be able to lift 75lbs continuously during an 8hr shift
