About this job
Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed audiology services. Clinically supervises aides, assistants, students and clinical fellowship year staff.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education including Licensure/ Certification/ Registration
Completion of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Current state licensure as an Audiologist, Hearing Aid Dispensing license if applicable. Will consider clinical fellowship year applicant. BLS provider.
Graduate of an accredited audiology program: master's or doctorate degree in audiology.
Experience:
A minimum of intermediate skills in sign language. Previous experience with 2-channel audiometer, immittance aduiometer, probe microphone, and evoked potential unit.
Skills
Requires critical thinking, complex problem solving, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a demanding environment, balance multiple priorities and take appropriate actions. Computer proficiency in word processing/typing, basic application and hardware functions required for applicable care setting.
