As a Facilities Construction Manager, you’re passionate about managing our asset management portfolio through maintenance of our Facilities, Property Renovations and Brand Presentation. RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

Grow and Maintain a Robust Business

  • Identify capital expenditures, develop scope requirements, estimating budget requirements, contracting of work and timely completion of all projects within budget
  • Visit properties and develop asset plans to understand existing conditions, inspect work progress or validate completed project against company standards
  • Ensure that the construction assumptions, project risks and alternate actions are recommended to maintain schedules and budgets
  • Reviews all drawings and make sure they conform to the company design standards
  • Develop schedules and maintains targeted completion dates.
  • Identify and assigning General Contractors and negotiate, recommend, and approve contracts with GC’s
  • Ensure that coordination and regular communication of overall project occurs between key stake holders to minimize project delays and/or budget challenges.
  • Support National Programs, business initiatives and provide emergency response to ensure success
  • Research and recommend procedures, processes and services for continuous improvement in the delivery of results
  • Perform due diligence for acquisitions and redevelopments

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR YOUR SUCCESS:

  • 3-5 years of Facilities Management or minor Construction Project Management experience with a multiple location real estate organization or General Contractor overseeing small to midsize renovations
  • Experience as a Real Estate Owners Representative is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with performing on site assessments, budget estimates, and successfully manage project cost information
  • Ability to develop scopes of work, Request for Proposals (RFP’s), bid spreads, select vendors and monitor projects
  • Experience directly managing vendors, ensuring accuracy and quality of finished project and validate invoicing
  • Demonstrated track record of upward mobility
  • Strong computer skills (MS Suite office programs including Word, Excel, and Project)
  • Experience interfacing with cross-functional internal stakeholders within multi-department corporate environment
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without accommodation
  • Frequent travel is required
