JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for supply chain network projects from start to finish, create insights and recommendations for network modifications.
  • Interface with clients, gather and analyze data, build mathematical models and provide recommendations for changes in the supply chain network.
  • Gather and clean up large scale data using tools such as Teradata, R, Python, MS excel or MS Access.
  • Design, implement and automate mathematical modeling and analysis procedures by applying operations research and statistics knowledge as well as using programming skills.
  • Create financial reviews using modeling, problem diagnosis and operational analysis to support various network and transportation optimization projects. These analyses include but not limited to transportation network optimization, landed cost analysis for various product types and flow path analysis.
  • Manage the flow of information across all supply chain stakeholders and merchandise business units. Communicate and educate business stakeholders on analytical outcomes and provide accurate interpretation of results. Take feedback to improve modelling aspects or analysis insights.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience performing transportation data analytics or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience as noted above.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Candidate must also possess:
  • Demonstrated Expertise ('DE') conducting analysis of operations and logistics data for supply chain operations to identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvement.
  • DE performing theoretical mathematical modeling, and coding using R, Python, Matlab, C++, or Visual Basic for modeling and computation.
  • D E performing data visualization using Excel, Tableau or Access Database.
  • Demonstrated Expertise may be gained during graduate program.
