Receiving Supervisor

Position Purpose:

At Floor and Decor our Supply Chain is crucial to meeting the demands of our customers. The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing the offloading and receiving trucks, stocking the sales floor, merchandising all products and manages a team. In addition, the Receiving Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all associates are trained and following all standard operating procedures. They are also responsible for daily scheduling of receiving/warehouse personnel, directing day to day activities of the receiving warehouse, inventory control and ensuring a safe work environment.

Ability to work a Retail schedule, mainlyovernight.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

High School graduate or equivalent

1-3 years of customer service/sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job as determined by the company.

Flexibility to work morning, afternoon and evening any day of the week and overnight shifts.

Must possess excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow up skills.

Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.

Ability to handle multiple task concurrently.

Effective Communication skills and strong computer skills.

Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

Must have a valid driver's license.
