Headway Workforce Solutions, in partnership with a committed, healthcare company, is seeking Licensed Health Customer Service Insurance Agents.
Position will begin mid-October and last through potentially March 2018
This position is Not Commission based. The salary will be between $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based upon experience.
As a Licensed Healthcare Customer Service Insurance Agent, you will…
- Assist staff during Open Benefits enrollment
- Provide rate quotes to consumers as well as enroll eligible consumers over the phone
- Provide guidance on insurance coverage
- Assist with Medicare and Marketplace questions
- Serve as liaison between the client and the Underwriting department to ensure applications are submitted correctly
Hours:
9 am - 6 pm, 10 am - 7 pm or 11 am - 8 pm.
This position will involve weekend hours however when you work weekends you will have days off during the week.
What We Need From You…
- Virginia Health Insurance License required
- Knowledge and compliance with applicable Federal, Medicare, State and Local Laws and regulations required
- Medicare experience required
- Must possess excellent customer skills and ability to relate to customers well on the phone
- Must have minimum typing speed of 30 wpm
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
- Must have the ability to commit to the full length of the temporary contract position from mid-October - potentially March 9th, 2018.
- Background check and drug screen will be required.
