Scheduled to open in 2017, the luxurious Omni property will be one of the only full-service upscale hotels in the area, and serve as a cornerstone of the mixed-use development, which will be anchored by the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and the Ford Center. The publicly owned, 12,000-seat multipurpose event center will be used by the City of Frisco and Frisco Independent School District (FISD) to host various activities including athletic competitions, graduations and other special events. The Dallas Cowboys will also use the event center as its training facility. The hotel, Cowboys facilities and other retail outlets are all part of the 91-acre development, The Star.

Located 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas and 25 minutes from both DFW International and Love Field Airports, Omni Frisco Hotel will feature 300 guest rooms, meeting space and a ballroom, along with several food and beverage experiences, including a rooftop pool deck. The hotel will serve meeting groups, as well as business and leisure travelers alike, including visitors attending Cowboys training camp, as well as the many events and activities hosted at the multi-use events and sports facility. Guests can also enjoy the retail and dining establishments that will be adjacent to the hotel.

Job Description

The Room Service Cashier will be the primary point-of-contact for our guests who wish to experience a five-diamond quality in-room meal or beverage experience. This person will close checks to the correct account and ensure servers have all the information they need to deliver orders efficiently and correctly.The Room Service Cashier also facilitates amenity deliveries, calls back guests to ensure every aspect of their order was delivered to their satisfaction and does whatever it takes to ensure timely and accurate service.

Responsibilities

* Follow Omni guidelines for up-selling to enhance revenue and guest satisfaction

* Process and expedite Select Guest (loyalty program) orders

* Follow Omni's "Moments of Service" guidelines for receiving guest orders via telephone and on-line

* Follow Omni's "Moments of Service" guidelines to confirm the details of each guest order, quoting accurate delivery items and following up on any needed or suggested menu items and preparation details

* Enter all guest orders into our point-of-sale system (MICROS) according to Omni standards

* Ensure all proper details about the order and pricing/delivery times are communicated to the Kitchen and Room Service delivery teams according to our standards.

* Work closely with In Room Dining Servers, accurately communicating pertinent order information, to ensure all orders are delivered efficiently and to the guest's specifications

Qualifications

* Ability and willingness to work a varied work schedule including nights and weekends

* Ability to communicate clearly with guests and co-workers in English both verbally and in writing

* Working knowledge of computers and telephone systems

* Previous customer service experience preferred

* Previous cashiering experience preferred

* Knowledge of Micros point-of-sale technology preferred

* TABC and Food Handler certificate required
