Functional Description:

PepsiCo is the only company with three major trademarks in carbonated soft drinks - Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and Mist Twst. When it comes to non-carbonated soft drinks, we have world class equities across every category - Aquafina in water; Tropicana and Naked Juice in juices; Pure Leaf and Brisk in ready-to-drink teas; AMP in energy drinks; Gatorade in sports drinks, and Starbucks products in ready-to-drink coffee. In addition to our core powerhouse brands and products we are continually launching successful innovation and expanding our product portfolio. Examples of recent product launches include premium water brand Life WTR, Mountain Dew Label Series, Pepsi 1893 series, Teahouse Collection, and the Gatorade Flow series.

The National Sales Strategy team leads strategic planning and directs the national account retail selling for the beverages division. The organization brings strategic focus and enhanced communication to PepsiCo's national customer accounts and bottlers. The team is responsible for providing advertising, marketing, sales and promotional support to these key constituents. They seek to develop the beverage category and identify the key priorities for increasing sales. There are three different teams within the National Sales Strategy organization that Senior Sales Analysts can be placed within: National Sales, Customer Team, or Brand Development and Commercialization.

The National Sales team specifically focuses on growing the beverage category through encapsulating priorities and strategies of the annual operating plan. The Customer team is the team in which general managers operate sales teams representing PepsiCo to our largest and most strategic customers. These teams are directly responsible for developing the annual account strategy and operating plan, delivering the sales P&L, and management of relationships with customers. The Brand Development and Commercialization team serves as a conduit between sales and marketing teams to ensure that innovation receives the appropriate financial and program support.

What to Expect

From the beginning of their career at PepsiCo, Senior Sales Analysts have the opportunity to own and lead projects regarding the development of high impact sales initiatives and collaborate cross functionally to increase sales growth, improve customer performance, and drive for positive business results. Senior Sales Analysts provide analytical, strategic sales planning, and project management support to Senior Sales Managers. The work requires an advanced analytical skillset to continuously analyze the customer and competitive landscape in order to provide meaningful recommendations to promote sales growth and customer success. Senior Sales Analysts collaborate, and work cross functionally to engage stakeholders and ensure the execution of successful sales plans. The career path for this position is based upon the PepsiCo Career Growth Model where employees are given opportunities to develop and demonstrate functional excellence, leadership capability, knowledge of the business, and gain critical experiences. This framework provides for early exposure, expanded responsibility, and movement within many different areas of the sales organization and business. Upon beginning their careers, Senior Sales Analysts can gain dynamic exposure and critical experiences in many different functions which can lead to a general management role or other roles within the sales and marketing organizations including, Key Account Management, District and Regional Sales Leadership, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, and E Commerce.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Possess an MBA degree prior to start date

* Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience

* Submit a resume and cover letter

* Have a minimum MBA GPA of 3.2

* Include GPA (unless your school has a non-disclosure policy) and stack-ranked location preference on your resume or cover letter

* Be eligible to work in the United States without work authorization sponsorship now or anytime in the future

* Pass a drug screen and background investigation

Preferred Experience and Characteristics:

* Relevant work experience in customer service, retail, or sales

* Demonstrated leadership experience and teamwork skills as demonstrated by previous relevant work experience and extracurricular involvement

* Excellent relationship building skills with knowledge of and ability to influence stakeholders

* Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate within a matrix environment

* Strong analytical skillset with ability to synthesize complex data from multiple data sources into simple fact based insights

* Exemplary presentation and story-telling skills

* Ability to drive and implement ideas and results in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
