Supervisor: Sous Chef
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Essential Job Functions:
• Complete production sheets and other records as required
• Maintain clean work area, utensils and equipment
• Attend to day-to-day problems and needs concerning equipment and food supplies; detects and ensures disposition of spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies/equipment, and or other unusual conditions
• Wash and properly store all cooking utensils, china equipment, flatware and glassware
• Polish all silverware, platters and chafing dishes
• Collect trash from kitchen areas; empties garbage barrels, wash and reline with new bags
• Examine garbage for silverware, dishes and glassware
• Wash and polish all stainless steel in kitchen, including shelves, dish cabinets, refrigerators, walk-ins, etc.
• Wash or clean receiving area and trash areas
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors
• Clean dishwashing machine after each meal period
• Assist in food preparation, putting away deliveries, cleaning coolers, freezers and store rooms
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications:
* Great organizational skills
* Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
* Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions

Essential Physical Requirements:
* Frequently immerses in hands in water
* Works frequently in a hot and damp environment
* This position includes (long periods of) climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling and repetitive motions
* Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
* Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above
