Sheet Metal General Laborer - Full-time

Essential Duties: 

• Help set up tools and equipment
• Loads and unloads construction materials from trucks and into buildings
• Furnishes experienced craft worker with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies
• Cleans work area and restocks supplies and materials as necessary
• Makes subassemblies and hangers as directed by mechanic
• Assists in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and devices during installation
• Performs other routine duties as directed by experienced craft person
• Maintains good housekeeping and a safe work area
• Works safely, encourages others to do so, and complies with applicable health and safety-related rules, regulations, and procedures
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Work at heights without fear
• Compare and see differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects
• Perform other duties as required

• Must have basic knowledge of construction materials, framing, and cutting skills
• Lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Available to work full work schedule, varied shifts, and work overtime with little to no notification
• Knowledge of trade related hand tools
• Good verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Background check required
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Must have a satisfactory driving record
