Citi's Global Consumer Group is organized in three global business units -- Retail Banking, Credit Cards, and Commercial Banking -- across three geographic groups: United States, Mexico, and Asia/EMEA. The Global Retail Banking (GRB) unit manages all aspects of retail-based banking services and has approximately 2,570 branches in over 500 cities worldwide. The GRB partners with internal product and functional service providers to deliver fully integrated value propositions to our clients. Partners include Global Consumer Product groups (Credit Cards, Mortgages and Commercial Banking) and Global Consumer Functional groups (Marketing, Digital, Citi FinTech, Risk, Operations & Technology, Human Resources, Finance, and Decision Management). Global Retail Banking serves a full range of consumer banking needs, including deposits, payments, lending, wealth management, insurance and small business services. The GRB Sales and Distribution team sets global strategy to transform the delivery of financial services through a dynamic mix of physical and digital channels.

The Sales & Distribution Program Manager will report to the GRB Sales Lead and contribute with the Sales & Distribution team to the development of strategy and implementation of change programs, with significant focus on Sales and Network Transformation. The individual will initially support four bodies of work within the Sales function:

Developing and driving culture change programs to drive our evolution from branch-based sales to client centric multi-channel sales

Developing and deploying globally common frameworks for selling, the sales model and salesforce management

Driving measurable results: developing performance analytics; identifying and sharing best practices

Process Innovation: internal and market research to identify new opportunities to drive the Sales model; developing and testing new concepts

Key Responsibilities

* Partner with regions in the roll-out of Next Gen sales and network programs; define, communicate, and implement global frameworks; program manage new and existing initiatives

* Identify and solve for key challenges / opportunities for a multi-channel client experience

* Engage with regions to uncover and understand emergent Sales best practices and how to leverage across regions

* Manage the governance and development processes for global training; partner with regions and functions to develop and implement employee development programs; track results and identify opportunities

* Support the implementation of global role profiles and global compensation standards

* Perform market research and branch/store visits to identify innovation trends and translate to opportunities for Citi

* Develop and manage agile innovation programs; work with regions to build proven programs out for global deployment

* Represent Sales & Distribution with global partners to ensure alignment with global strategy and to drive efficient and effective execution

* Develop communication plans, presentations, talking points, etc. for senior management reporting, town halls and key initiative deployment

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in business preferred, MBA an asset

* 6-8 years of experience managing complex projects in financial services, management consulting, or a management associate program

* Ability to assess and analyze business and financial impact of proposed initiatives (prospectively and retrospectively) and document a business case

* Ability to conduct complex data analysis, modeling, problem solving, and financial analysis

* Excellent analytical, project and process management skills

* Experience with agile methods of project management a plus

* Ability to operate in a matrix organization and influence others

* Strong written and verbal communications skills

* Organized and able to juggle multiple projects at one time

* Ability to travel internationally

* Ability to work effectively with a great degree of independence

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member, and form collaborative working relationships with key business leaders within Citi

* Multi-cultural, multi-country experience building strong collaborative relationships

* Strong command of MS Office, Collaborate, SharePoint, and Corporate digital tools for communication and program management

* Digital banking experience

* Ability to create support and buy-in across a wide range of stakeholders; create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners, external constituencies and decision makers.

* Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the team and across organizational boundaries; willing to break down functional silos to optimize business results and to facilitate the overall growth of the franchise.
