Role Summary:
Baker Hughes, a GE company has anopening for Disassembly, Maintenance & Overhaul Technician -- 3rdShift in Tulsa, OK.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Responsible for efficient maintenance of shop equipment
* Assemble and disassemble all equipment as per standard procedures
* Conduct initial inspections of equipment that come into the shop
* Inspection of incoming and outgoing products to ensure accuracy and quality
* Operate over-head cranes and occasional fork lift
* May paint and perform final clean up before they are sent back to the fields for services
* Operating and maintain repair equipment to complete day to day tasks
* Attend prejob safety meetings on location
* This position requires constant use of PPE such as coveralls, hard-hat, gloves (job dependent), safety shoes and shields
* Performs other related duties as instructed by supervisor
* Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner
* This position is a Mon-Fri role on a shift basis; must be open to work on either first or second shifts as required and on call basis
* Hours/Shift: Work 3rd Shift (M-F, 11pm-7am)
* Training is 1st Shift (M-F, 7am-3:30pm)
Qualifications/Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Experience working with basic hand tools
* Mechanical aptitude
* Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly
* Must have high regards to safety and quality
* Must be compliant to all company policies and procedures
* Conduct all business activities in accordance to company HSE policies
Desired Characteristics:
* Previous assembly or disassembly experience
* Electrical testing experience
* Previous lapping/polishing experience
* Familiarity with blueprints and schematics
* First Aid training is an added plus
