Hours needed: 15-30 hrs. depending on hiring needs.
The Director of Marketing serves on our Leadership team as a forward thinking-partner. They will demonstrate ownership for the Creating Raving Fans Strategy, specifically by delivering 2nd Mile Service and activating Emotional Connections Marketing (ECM) in order to grow sales and build the brand. This Director ensures that the relationship between the Marketing Team and the Team is healthy and strong. Create and execute the annual and 90-day marketing plan and system to market the Chick-fil-A brand both internally and externally ensuring Local Store Marketing, and Social Media Marketing occurs on a daily basis. They embody the values of Chick-fil-A and serve as an ambassador to the community. This Director must demonstrate creativity and marketing strengths with the strong ability to think strategically in planning and implementing marketing initiatives and promotions. They must have a growth mind set.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regular meetings with operator & Leadership team
- Develop a plan to ensure ECM Daily
O Activities are 100% ECM-Passed thru the RAVE Filter
O ECM-Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually
O Having focused activities that leverage National Campaign & Market Events.
O Create at least ONE marketing event every TWO weeks. (Includes social media ‘Events”)
- Tracks and gets approval for needed marketing materials
- Communicating & seeking input from operator & HPLT on Marketing Plan
- Ensure Real Food is being leveraged daily (Sampling, Whole product distribution, Lemonade Demo. Etc...)
- Ensure Chick-fil-A Cow is leveraged daily (Cow mascot, plush cow, cow truck)
- Ensuring REMARK-able Experiences are taking place
- Set an outside sales GOAL for every SIX months.
- Focus catering on where people LEARN,PRAY,WORK & HEAL
- Constantly being an advocate for growing the Chick-fil-A Brand inside and outside the store leveraging The Brand Strategy: Food, People, Cows, Influence by establishing a culture of Continuous Improvement
- Building and Maintaining relationships with Schools & Community
- Maintaining Business and Professional contacts
- Seeking opportunities to serve CFA @ Large Events
- Involving Chick-fil-A in community-wide events
- Demonstrate ownership in the Raving Fans Strategy. i.e. ECM
- Develop a Marketing leadership Team
- Strives to have a positive influence on all who come in contact w/ Chick-fil-A
- Conducts SWOT analysis for restaurant growth & opportunities
Day to Day/Weekly activities:
- Produce II Catering leads a week & record them
- Tracks Coupons and Distribution of Coupons
- Coordinates Spirit Nights and Events. In-House & Out-of-House
- Ensures P.O.P is displayed properly and all Marketing materials are to Brand standard and is to Chick-fil-A’s VIS (Visual Identity Standard)
