Job Summary: Execute strategic outside programs by growing business with existing accounts, soliciting, and establishing new accounts, developing productive relationships with Fleet and Dealer businesses. They will support the District Manager, Auto Center management and staff in developing and maintaining market share through aggressive account sales growth. They act as a liaison between customers and auto centers. Job Duties/Responsibilities: * Solicits new commercial business (Fleet & Dealer) for Sears Auto Center (SAC) and Battery units to maximize store sales, profitability, and productivity * Increase existing account sales by building long-term business relationships through visitation, phone calls, letters, and corporate support materials * Acts as liaison between accounts, company staff, and credit department to build and maintain healthy financial relationships, and productivity * Provides Auto Center managers and Customer Service Advisors with the training support required to maximize Auto Center Sales, profits, and productivity * Promotes new Auto Center openings with the solicitation of new fleet, auto dealer, and commercial business in the new location area * Maintains open lines of communication with: National Commercial Sales Manager, National Account Managers, District Manager(s), Auto Center manager, and Auto Center associates * Knows, and uses, the features and benefits of Sears Automotive Group products and services offered through our stores (e.g. battery warranty and adjustment periods, tire construction, and Uniform Tire Quality Grade ratings) * Understands how to process all possible Point of Sale transactions for commercial customers in Tire Point of Sale (e.g. sales, returns, adjustments, special customer parameters, etc.). * Fully knows on the procedures for loading commercial customers and performing maintenance on their accounts in National Account Database * Understands the process for establishing a commercial credit account for commercial customers and is knowledgeable on our credit terms and conditions * Fully supports our efforts in collecting credit balances and past dues from our commercial customers (e.g. physically visiting the commercial customer's location to help resolve disputed invoices, training Customer Service Advisors on the proper use of a commercial credit account, training Customer Service Advisors on required billing information such as purchase orders, etc.) * Proactive works with store management and District management to remove barriers to servicing commercial customers in our stores (e.g. persuading customers to use us during slow periods, asking for vehicles to be dropped off or called in ahead of time, etc.) * Is effective in opening up new commercial accounts for Sears Automotive Group by building appointments, cold calling, acting on referrals, and using various forms of lead generation (e.g. direct mail, phone solicitation, internet resources, etc.). * Introduces / turns over accounts to stores for servicing that are fully set-up (e.g. credit established, tax exempt status identified, and account in National Account Database thereby becoming an easy sales process for both the store and the customer * Builds awareness at the store/district level on the nuances and importance of commercial sales * Gets store buy-in and support for servicing commercial customers * Effectively balances time between stores in market coverage area supporting commercial customer needs * Performs tasks on a timely manner and effectively communicates their progress through the process (e.g. credit collection efforts, tax exempt requests, and competitive price shops) * Completes Weekly Call Schedule to provide accountability of areas/customers visited and reports activity is logged daily and copies are provided to all primary District Managers at the end of each week * Works extra hours if needed * Performs all duties as assigned

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Level Degree Years of Related Experience: 1-2 Years Driver's License Required: Yes Travel Requirements: 50% Age Requirement: 18+ Required Skills: * Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong desire to build relationships with customers and co-workers * Excellent verbal communication skills to properly train and develop sales staff on customer program parameters * Ability to manage priorities efficiently (time management) * Ability to analyze account sales and profit trends to identify areas of opportunity and corrective measures to maintain increases * The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to approximately 50 pounds ( weight can exceed 50 lbs) Preferred Skills: * Business to business selling experience * Multi unit management skills
